At the 48th Annual Meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan, held on December 3–5, 2025, at Pacifico Yokohama, Malala Mulavu, a first-year doctoral student from the Graduate School of Infectious Diseases, Hokkaido University, received the Poster Award in recognition of her outstanding presentation.

At this annual meeting, a total of 1,599 posters were entered for the Poster Award. Following a rigorous on-site evaluation, 171 presentations were selected to receive the MBSJ Poster Award 2025.
