
At the 13th Sapporo Summer Symposium for One Health (SaSSOH 2025), held on September 25–26, 2025 at the Veterinary Medicine of Hokkaido University, two first-year doctoral students received the Poster Award for their outstanding presentations: Malala Mulavu, from the Graduate School of Infectious Diseases, and Joshua Walter Kranrod, from the Graduate School of Medicine, Hokkaido University. Project description: This project is looking into using the Calu-3, A549, and Caco-2 cell lines to increase virus isolation for the Influenza virus, Respiratory syncytial Virus, and the Human Metapneumovirus. -

Poster title: Characterization of Novel Cell-Penetrant Antibodies for Rabies Prophylaxis
