Dr.Takada(Division of Vaccinology for Clinical Development) received the Good Oral Presentation Award for Early-career Researcher at the 2nd AMED SCARDA Joint Symposium of Japan Initiative for World-leading Vaccine Research and Development Centers, Symposium was held at the Kobe International Conference Center from March 17 to 19, 2025. Dr. Takada also received the Best Poster Award at last year’s symposium.

Presentation title: Strategy for achieving both safety and efficacy of CTL-inducing vaccines using a low molecular drug.

Comment from Dr.Takada: In general, vaccines that induce strong inflammation tend to be highly effective, but also have a higher risk of side effects. We are very happy that our unique approach to using oral medication to achieve both the protective effect of the vaccine and safety has been recognized.
