研究概要

• Analysis of zoonotic pathogens from interface areas for possible linkages to emerging and re-emerging infections. Rapid deforestation, shrinking of boundaries between human and animal, crisis for natural habitation and increased demands for wildlife products has led to resurgence of diseases. Control systems especially vaccine development from identified pathogens must be prioritized.
• Pathogenicity determination of identified zoonotic pathogens. The linkage of pathogenicity to individual pathogens is vital in establishing vaccine candidates as pathogenicity has been linked to immunogenicity.
