On March 10, 2026, the Institute for Vaccine Research and Development (IVReD) at Hokkaido University held the FY2025 Research Presentation Meeting in a hybrid format at the Global Research Center for Food & Medical Innovation (FMI).

Approximately 50 participants attended the event. Nineteen research project members and guest researchers presented their scientific achievements from FY2025, sharing their latest progress in vaccine research and infectious disease countermeasures.

The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and engage in lively discussions on research strategies to translate basic scientific findings into practical applications for society.

Following the presentations, a networking reception was held, where participants deepened their interactions and fostered new connections across different institutions and research fields.

IVReD will continue to promote collaborative research with institutions in Japan and around the world, thereby advancing vaccine development and infectious disease preparedness.
