Three IVReD Researchers Receive Awards at the 3rd AMED SCARDA Joint Symposium

The Third Joint Symposium of AMED SCARDA Japan Initiative for World-leading Vaccine Research and Development Centers was held at the Kobe Portopia Hotel from March 2 (Mon) to March 4 (Wed), 2026. The symposium brought together research institutions participating in the SCARDA(Strategic Center of Biomedical Advanced Vaccine Research and Development for Preparedness and Response) Japan Initiative for World-leading Vaccine Research and Development Centers of AMED (Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development) to share their latest advances in vaccine research and development and to strengthen collaboration among researchers.

We are pleased to announce that three faculty members from IVReD received awards for their outstanding research presentations at the symposium. The awards highlight the significant achievements and impact of vaccine research and development carried out at IVReD.

◆Good Oral Presentation Award for Early-career Researcher
The award was presented to four early-career researchers for their outstanding oral presentations, including two from IVReD.
