Dr. Jonathan Wilson Yewdell from the National Institutes of Health (NIH/NIAID, USA) visited IVReD on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Prof. Hirofumi Sawa and Dr.Gabriel Gonzalez discussed the potential for future collaborative research.

Dr. Yewdell is a distinguished scientist who has long been at the forefront of viral immunology. His work is internationally recognized, particularly for elucidating mechanisms of antigen presentation via MHC class I molecules and for advancing understanding of host immune responses to influenza viruses.
