IVReD concluded a collaboration agreement with the Osaka International Research Center for Infectious Diseases(OIRCID)on August 26, 2025 (Tue.).
The purpose of this agreement is to effectively promote collaboration in education, research, and human resource exchange in the field of infectious diseases, including vaccine research and development, thereby contributing to the advancement of infectious disease education and research.
The OIRCID brings together experts from diverse fields across the university and collaborates with Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, the Osaka Institute of Public Health, and industry partners. As a hub for interdisciplinary “macro-infectiology,” the center addresses challenges in “metropolitan health,” focusing on infectious disease countermeasures in large urban areas.
By sharing international networks, research resources, and technologies, and by building a collaborative framework through researcher exchange, both institutions recognize that significant progress can be achieved in advancing infectious disease preparedness and response.
