Overview of Research
- We will develop scientific methods for evaluating vaccines using our proprietary antibody acquisition technology—one of the world’s fastest—which enables the rapid isolation of antigen-specific antibody-producing single cells from immune individuals (such as humans and laboratory animals), the isolation of antibody genes from these cells, and their expression in cultured cells. This process allows for the acquisition of a large number of antibody clones specific to the target antigen in as little as four days.
-
We will isolate a large number of antibody clones specific to the vaccine and analyze their reactivity against the antigen as well as the structure of each antibody’s variable region.
-
We will analyze which epitopes on the vaccine each antibody clone recognizes and classify the antibody clones based on this information, along with the sequence data of their variable regions.
-
We will select antibody clones suitable for antigen detection and develop antibodies useful for vaccine evaluation.
