Overview of Research

  • To collect and curate information on laboratory animals used in infectious disease research and to establish a comprehensive database of infectious disease animal models.
  • Based on database analyses, we develop and provide versatile type I interferon receptor-deficient (IFN-α/βR KO), type II interferon receptor-deficient (IFN-γR KO), and aging mouse models with diverse genetic backgrounds to support a wide range of infectious disease research.
