Overview of Research

• Based on the concept known as Zoobiquity, we promote pan-animal research that examines humans and other animal species without boundaries and investigates shared biological phenomena through an interdisciplinary approach.
• By integrating expertise from medicine, veterinary science, evolutionary biology, and related fields, we aim to elucidate the pathogenesis of diseases shared by humans and animals, develop new drugs and advanced medical technologies, apply therapeutic strategies across species, and establish diagnostic and preventive methods.
• Development of immunostimulatory methods using immune checkpoint inhibitors.
• Development of methods to enhance vaccine efficacy by probiotics.
