Overview of Research

• Select candidate strains of vaccines against influenza viruses that have the potential to cause pandemics in the future, and optimize their culture conditions for vaccine seed production and determine the best method for inactivation of the virus.
• Evaluate the efficacy of the candidate whole particle vaccine (WPV) in terms of immunogenicity and safety, etc., with the aim of early commercialization of inactivated virus WPV against pandemic influenza.
