A research group led by Professor Satoshi Konno (Graduate School of Medicine ) and Assistant Professor  Sho Nakakubo, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 in Sapporo City, used the data of individuals registered in the medical treatment judgment system to identify Omicron strains.
